<p>If so, why? I was waitlisted by one of those schools and if I got in I would have a terribly hard time saying no to the brand name even though CMC is a really good fit.</p>
<p>I didn’t personally, but I know a girl who chose CMC over Harvard this year.</p>

<p>As a freshman at CMC… I know of a handful of people who chose CMC over HYPS.</p>
<p>Fit is super important!! They just didn’t like it at all.</p>

Though, I do know two people who chose Harvard over CMC–but they said it was a hard decision. Just goes to show you what an awesome pool of people are going to CMC.</p>
<p>Yeah, the girl who did the panels at my session said she chose CMC over Stanford and a bunch of other Ivy Leagues. It does happen. :] for them, brand name isn’t as important as fit.</p>
