The ACT english and reading sections are definitely much easier, but the discrepancy in difficulty is balanced by having much less time, and a harsher ACT curve.

I did about equal,

2260 SAT/ 35 ACT

720 CR/ 33 Reading

740 Writing/ 35 English, 7 essay 31 Combined

800 Math/ 35 Math

The PLAN wasn’t a very good indicator. I got a 27, which gave me an ACT range of 28-32.

WOW. You made substantial improvement on the tests… I guess difficulty varies with different test sittings.

cortana431. awesome scores!!! how did you manage them?

Any more opinions?

i did worse in ACT i think… i got overall 18… SAT i got 1470…

i fell asleep in the science part and i guessed on everything… lol
or did i?

I read A LOT of books over the summer which I think helped tremendously for reading, critical reading and science. my science improved from a 31 to 35. I really think reading books did that.

For me, the ACT seems to be easier because I don’t have any trouble with the math sections but for the ACT, the reading/writing sections are so much easier to digest and more straightforward. Science isn’t too hard either and doesn’t really need any chemistry experience or w/e since all the info you need is already given.

I’m rocking a 33/2070
But that’s my third ACT vs my first SAT, so who knows. I took the SAT on Saturday and it felt extremely easy.

2300/33 (from me)…

I think the ACT is slightly easier… Although the time restraints are pretty stressful. I got a 640 CR/ 650 Writing and 29 on the English and Reading sections. On math I got 33/720. So my ACT is slightly better… 31/2010.
