Subject line: UCSB: Committed to Community and Student Success

???

I also got one.

You see how paranoid I am? Haha. Any e-mail I get from them makes my stomach tie into a knot. I’m hoping for something, anything, that’ll give me a clue to their acceptance. Haha.

I did not receive one. Man, this just added more stress.

Check your spam folder. If you do get it within the next few days or even weeks, let us know. :)

I did too and I know exactly how you feel. My heart skipped a beat when I first saw it but it’s probably nothing. I guess we’ll see though.

I received it. I feel like they’re trying to sell themselves to us. Why would they send this email to someone that isn’t going to be accepted?

I got it in my spam folder. I doubt it means anything though.

@unknowngap over analyzation at its finest

Well I TAGed and didn’t get it. Does that mean I’m not getting accepted? Yeah exactly.

@xcballin well i am a math major lol

I received the email and I know that I’m not going to get accepted because I didn’t complete the requirements that they wanted. I don’t think it means anything.

Is it this one?

Dear XXXXXXX,

Over the last four months the Office of Admissions has been reading and evaluating over 76,000 applications to UCSB for the fall term, 2013.

On Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., Pacific Time, UCSB will release all freshman and some transfer decisions on the applicant portal website: www.admissions.ucsb.edu/applicant.

Naw. I got that one as well like 20 minutes ago. It was another one.

^ received that email. doesn’t mean anything. just notifying us

“O.M.G. got an email from UCSB telling me when decisions will be released for freshmen and transfers. This MUST mean that I’m accepted right?! I mean after all why would they send this email to a person that wasn’t accepted!?”

-a lot of people in the uci thread(s)

I’m just curious as to what it says.

I only got an email about decision release date for freshman and transfer.

LOL. UCI’s gonna UCI

Or maaaaybe… only those transfer applications that have already been reviewed and will be admitted in the first batch received the e-mail. Boom! More analyzation. ;)
