-ap classes: 4 (technically 5 i guess, since im taking a calc d/linear alg college class being taught at my school since we finished calc bc already)
-3 community college courses
-ap euro exam 1, ap calc ab exam 2, ap calc bc exam 3 (subscore 3 for ab)
-act 22 (took it twice, too. same score)
-subject tests: math 2 (600) lit (460... took it twice.. first time was 450)
-for ECs i had soccer, refereeing soccer, key club, S.T.A.N.D. (students taking action now darfur), National Honor society, CSF, dance, singing, guitar. im also president of key club this year.
-talked about motivation, willpower, priorities and passion in my personal statement</p>
<p>but what im mainly looking at is, i didn't think i had the academics for berkeley.. i also didn't get into ucla or ucsd. i did have ELC though. so i was just wondering.. do my academic stats seem bizarre for me getting in?</p>
<p>ELC counts for A LOT at Cal while SATs and APs matter very little :P
so you go lucky on that part.
Cal tends to compare you to the rest of your class rather than other applicants ^_~</p>

<p>dunno.. I wasn't elc and I got in. I didn't get into ucla nor ucsd neither. well ucsd intially, until i got in as appeal.
my ucgpa was 3.96. sat 2040, satiis 800,740</p>
