Anyone else interview at NEOUCOM this weekend?

so i didnt get my ranking letter yet... i know there's no mail today, but it's back on tomorrow right? when's that due?

redluke22, i got mine just today. so i'm thinking you'll get it real soon. but the whole thing is due next tuesday.... if you're worried that the mail won't get there on time, you can also fax it or scan and e-mail it...

i can't seem to decide if i want UA as my first or Kent as my first.
what will your choice be redluke?

my friend hasn't gotten hers yet either, so i wouldn't worry.

grapyaji, im gonna put kent 1st, because i think i did alot better in the interview there, plus i liked their campus better, and the current student that i talked to there said that they have kind of a focus on psychology, which i am interested in.
Hey, let me know if you guys get in, and i'll do the same.

yeah i got my letter today... thanks buckeye.

decision letters mail out tomorrow... you guys excited? i know i am.

Are they mailed today or mailed on Saturday and post marked today

i thought it was to be mailed monday, but i may be wrong... in any case we'll know sometime this week.

They are mailed on Monday. You should receive it by Wednesday. I'm glad I'm not waiting for a letter. The wait is unbearable.

central, did you apply last year?

No, a few years back.

My daughter got her letter today....she was accepted at Akron U..

^Congrats. Akron is really great.

yeah, i got mine yesterday too. i'm an alternate for both akron and kent. oh well, i'm not too sad about it though. i'm actually glad that neo isn't the only place i applied... or i would be freaking out right now.
anyways, congratulations to all who got accepted.
i think i'll apply to other b.s./m.d. programs offered in ohio and see where i can get in.

i only got my akron letter today (got in)
so does that mean i didnt get into kent?

yeah i think so,, if akron was your first choice. but if akron was your second or third, then it means that you're not accepted. but i think they'll send a letter saying whether you would like to be an alternate or something like that. i'm not really sure but that's my guess

i'm in at kent (1st choice.) good lord it starts june 9 lol.
haha now to wait and see where else i get in...
i'm not positive, but i think if i get into washU i'll probaly end up going there, but who knows...
oh, i also had another question for you guys: a couple of the rolling places i already got into advised me to apply for housing now, since it's limited. should i do that here, even though i'm not positive ill be attending?

^I believe BS/MD students are guaranteed housing. I know this is true at Akron because they house all the BS/MD students together. Call the Kent BS/MD coordinator and ask her if this is true for Kent. If it's true, then don't worry about applying for housing yet. It's only a deposit usually, so if you want, you can put it down and they can refund it later.

If you ranked Kent above Akron, then yes, you didn't get in. If you ranked it after Akron, you would not receive anything from Kent. You can only get one acceptance.

i got into youngstown (my first choice). ysu doesnt start until june 30!
if i'm still waiting to hear from my first choice college, what should i do with my neoucom acceptance since they want to hear back by december 21??

there should be an option to extend the deadline until may 1.
haha i know i've been asking a lot of questions, but i have a couple more, cause central seems to know his stuff lol.
so do bs/md's qualify for honors housing? cause the honors dorms at kent are sweet.
also, does anyone know how many electives there are in the program, if any?
haha i probably should've asked these kinds of questions earlier, maybe when the interviewer asked me if i had any questions, but i really just thought of them.
thanks.
