Anyone else interview at NEOUCOM this weekend?

I have my akron interview tomorrow... is there anything i can possibly do to not make it so scary? b/c ive heard some horror stories about this one...

really? i thought akron was really casual and relaxed. for me the kent one was more stressful. in akron they just want to get to know you as a person

Hey all! How did interviews go? I thought Kent was really tense and I was asked nothing ethical which I felt was really weird. The hardest thing to talk about was maybe healthcare. Youngstown on the other hand was really conversational. But overall, I couldn't really read my interviewers so I don't know what to expect...

Anyone get their final letters? Should be soon?

the schools are sending the letters out on march 24 on monday. so good luck to all!

To Those Who Got Accepted,

Thanks,

letters mailed tomorrow...

i got in!!

congrats, i got into kent and ysu..

the choice, though, will be between UT's Bacc/MD and Kent's BS/MD.

it's going to be a tough choice...

choose NEOUCOM over utoledo.

i did not.

shatender, do you mind telling me why i should?

also bluestreak, what made ou decide against neoucom?

I was not accepted.

I plan on going traditional route.

neoucom is more well-known.

use usnews avg mcat score rankings to judge for yourself.

i dont know much but rankings put toledo higher.

i am so sorry bluestreak. i didn't mean to be so insensitive. i apologize.

and yeah, toledo's med school has a higher ranking than neoucom...

lol, it's alright. I'm not too worried about it. I'll end up in the same place anyway. There's a lot of perks to the traditional route I'm going with. Smaller class size, personal attention, more choice in classes, closer to home, higher med school acceptance rates, to name a few.

i got into ysu, but an alternate at akron. is anyone else in this position? if you are an alternate to your first choice campus, do you know when you hear back?

thanks!

Hey, I got into ysu too! My friend was in the same position as you, and she already heard back from her alternate. Maybe you should call akron.

yeah same here...they said there were two spots left and they were giving one to me; however, i said no to the spot so there's one still open i guess
