Anyone Else Seeing Their Grades Drop?

The quality of my work is dropping dramatically but, not surprisingly, my grades aren’t dropping.

Below are the best and worst case scenarios for a student who Guesses on all problems.

The probability of scoring a 3/45 with a 45 question 5 answer multiple choice quiz is
.8^42*.2^3 = 6.8056473384187861 x 10^-7

Probability Cumulatively for anything at or below 3:
5.7848002376559682 x 10^-5

The probability of scoring a 3/45 on a matching quiz is
42!/45! = 1/(45)(44)(43) = 1.17453606

My grades dropped last quarter (low 90s) but it’s mainly b/c of pop quizzes that I’m never prepared for or some stupid mistake.

@failboat: but it wasnt multiple choice, you see. it was free response along with some proofs, which greatly increases the chance of getting only 3/45 points

My English grade has dipped down from like a 94 to maybe a 90, possibly a high 80. I got a D+ on a history test the other day, so I went from like an A to maybe A-/B+. Spanish went up a few points, most likley a 95-ish now, and Chemistry is a high 90. Math has gone up to a B, up from a C last quarter. Grades have dipped oddly I guess, but 1 test and some English hw assignments blew up my grades :frowning: This quarter flew by, and I’m scared about college admissions now lol

Alas, I failed to account for that little anomaly, we can now conclude that your teacher is indeed a ******bag (or you guys are lazy, the former’s less hypocritical on my part :D)

Yep, me. D: This semester I currently have a C- in English, a C+ in AP Calc and a borderline A (90) in AP Physics…

eff.

EDIT: I’m a junior D:

Relax fellow brothers and sisters of the Senior order, you have obviously contacted Senioritus, this is fully expected and you must embrace it while you can.

Yeah, I’ve gotten owned first semester junior year and am continuing to get owned, by both CC standards and regular standards.

Eh, absolute, unparalleled laziness is finally starting to pwn me. Oh well, I’ll see what I can do.

Mine have dropped… I don’t want to admit it, but even though I feel I am studying a lot and doing my homework… I think that I have succumbed to senioritis… shudders

My Grade in Health is 99.7, not 100 :(. LOL.

^YOU POOR POOR CHILD!

How will you survive?

I have no ****ing idea…
UPDATE: I actually have less than a B in 2 classes… :</p>

Health class is more important. If you can’t get a 100 in that class that has greater implications outside of the classroom.

all b’s pretty much
must start caring in 3rd quarter…

I freaked and thought I had an 80 on a test in AP Lit today…turns out it was a quiz…

I swear the first time she had the assignment posted on power school (before we took it) it was labeled as TST and not QZ… >>

My grades right now are far lolsier than any of yours. Victory is mine.

My grades have dropped this grading period however I feel I am doing just as well if not better this grading period because in relation to the other kids of my grade level, I am doing even better.

they r plummeting and i dont care hahaha

Seconded !
