Anyone Else Seeing Their Grades Drop?

my homework average in math this semester has dropped to a 27%

Me! lol…
2 reasons:

1:
I overloaded on academics; in theory, I could handle them, but they’re so BORING and so much tedious work, that I don’ bother doing most of my homework except for AP Eng 3 and AP Span Lit… I just blow off my other classes…

2: I realized that there are other things more important in life than school; I tailored my senior year schedule on this fact.

Yea, my grades dropped about a half a point… i no its not much, but im much happier.

Im getting by in school with hardly any studying, surprisingly im taking aps too. i have spent more time with friends and school is seeming less important. But im not worrying about my work ethic because my grades have hardly goon down.

@rayna

Your teacher is a jerk :<

C in Mandarin, my teacher exemplifies the reasons for hating Chinese people.
D- on AP Chem final, but I did really fine the rest of the year so I still managed a low A for the semester grade.

Update: my grades went down by at least 8 pts in ap chem and spanish. but it went up in ap comp science, english, and us. so thats why its almost the same, but i see my grades slipping as im nearing toward senior year.

ehh I had a 3.5 1-2 weeks ago. now it’s sitting around a 3.4. it’s definitely going up, but my ap english teacher hates me :/

Oh contrare, my grades are are actually improving.

Spanish i had a B- but raised it to a solid A
English from an A- to an A
everything else also improved

Everything’s up except math. I managed to pull my 83 up to a 95 in chemistry–epic win–and my math grade down from a 95 to a 90. ■■■.

just kidding!!! turns out my grades have been improving (just got report card).

First Tri: 3.62
2nd Tri: 3.83

math went down though :/

I can do fine in my math/sci classes, but geez, working hard in U.S. Government is too much…

Just my AP gov grade, but it’s because my biased teacher is giving my class 3x more pop quizzes than her other AP gov classes (I wish I was kidding but I’m not… Are teachers allowed to do this?!)

grades are dropping like crazy… in EVERY SUBJECT. so frustrating. i didn’t do homework for a month after final exams and i got my first acceptance.

ill work hard when ap exams come around and try to fix the mess ive created.

ME TOO (except not Gov, more like every non math/sci class hahaha).
I have possibly the easiest English teacher ever, and I managed to get a B. And Latin is just murdering me right now, there is so much work to do in that class. And I have no motivation anymore. Which is really bad because I haven’t gotten into college yet. :x

My grades are definitely going down.

sigh Being a second semester senior will do that to you.

I concur with all of you. I see the adverse affects of senioritis finally reaching their height in the second semester seniors: just an all around lack of motivation, apathy, and entitlement to graduation. Its tough, but you must summon what ever shred of self-motivation lies within you and persevere to graduation; just maintain steady A’s and B’s, and you’ll be fine. Remember, once college starts, the work ethic from your freshman year must return.

Ha, I’m getting a 95 in AP Physics C this semester. Unfortunately, I got an 84% first semester and my better performance this semester means NOTHING because colleges will never see it. Grrrrr it’s so frustrating…

I had a 96% in Spanish, now I have a 86%!! Trying to bring it up before this friday!

Haha, I actually put up a stink on my report card the first marking period, but now it’s straight A’s. This happens every year, I usually don’t have a clue what I’m doing the first marking period, and then I get good grades the rest, anyone else with the same “problem”?

Is there really any reason to do much beyond low A’s second semester for seniors? Unless your gunning for Val/Sal, I don’t know what…

Some of my grades are dropping, some are going up. Now they usually range from 85 to 100.
Some of my classes I’m just being lazy in, but what aggravates me is that I am trying hard in AP English, but managed to get a 77! I usually have 97s in English, not 77s! I want to get on the honor roll one last time…and not send a terrible Final Report to college…
