Do the people who get/have got likely letters have their interviews done? Or did you get them without interviews...

Could all of you who got likely letters post stats? The wait for the decision that will determine the course of my life is killing me.

SAT- 800M, 690CR, 690W (2180)
I just retook in January and my scores went up to 800M 750CR 780W (2330), but I'm pretty sure Dartmouth didn't see those before they sent me the letter...

Asian girl from NY

Just curious: What does the letter say?

"Congratulations! You will be accepted to Dartmouth!"

Or what?

I'm guessing if I don't get one tomorrow (I live in FL) then I'm not going to. Oh well...wasn't really expecting one though...

:)

VeryHappy the letter basically is very optimistic-sounding. "there is no question that when we mail our final decisions at the end of March you will be offered admission to Dartmouth" and this is early indication is meant to "ease [your] mind"

i wouldn't worry about it too much...lots of kids will get in who dont get the likely letters.

I got the letter today. postmarked Feb 12th.

Asian guy from NYC

jgonzo220: i'm with you. it seems people in my region already got theirs. oh well. considering i'm not spectacular, it wasnt expecting one :). i just hope to get in come march. it just would've been nice.

we not academically perfect people have minds with soothing necessities too...

le sigh
(adds french article for dramatic effect)

I think the less academically spectacular students may get letters in the second and third rounds when they've read through more applications in depth. I know people in my area have received letters so I'm at the edge of my seat. It seems as though most of the letter receivers had a 2350+ on the SATs. It's belittling to my 2300 :(

kristen- i'm pretty sure there's a major sleepover weekend for accepted pre-frosh. idk when though, but i'm looking forward to it!

Has anyone on the west coast gotten a letter?

Congrats to all that got a likely letter.

For those that don't have one, keep in mind that the majority of RD students will not receive likely letters so it's not over until the final decisions are made in april.

Dimensions is held during midweek, I think tuesday, wednesday, thursday and it will be sometime in around mid april.

Ask if any one got information about Dimensions in their likely letter.

Does anyone who got a letter mind typing it up for the rest of us? I'm just curious as to what is says...
