We just heard back today on our petition to Kelley and my daughter is thrilled to get direct admit. Just for other people waiting she got in initially as prebusiness, we did not know anything about the petition so she did not send in her petition until Dec 8th and she heard back today! So don’t lose hope all those waiting on petition decisions. She is so happy because she really did not want to go to our state school here but she was resigning herself to that possibility now I think Kelley is her #1 choice.
For the general application for the selective scholarship application (SSA), did you guys write the general essay? I feel like for me it would just be repetitive of what was already in my application. Is it necessary or am I able to skip it if I feel this way? Any advice?
Anyone still waiting for a decision? I applied 10/30 and still haven’t gotten a decision.
I feel like you should have heard by now via email. Have you checked your junk/spam folders? DS applied on 11/1 and heard back before the holiday break, received the red folder in the mail today. There are others in his school who applied the same day and heard a week earlier so there does seem to be great variation…I’m guessing due to the volume of applications they receive.
Daughter applied 10/30, received acceptance email by mid-November and the red envelope early December. Seems like maybe early app folks should be hearing? But she applied to Purdue at the same time and we have yet to hear from them

@mpsmith47304 Purdue decisions are released this Wednesday at 5pm est. She should get an email. If not, she should check her portal.
My son OOS accepted to Kelley for Marketing. Very exciting! We are attending Direct Admit day in February.
Daughter accepted OOS today - interested in majoring in psychology. She was pleasantly surprised by an email!
Anyone know when Indiana lets you know about merit aid? We got email with acceptance and red envelope with admission letter but no mention of meri award or even which school daughter was accepted into. OOS, no aid makes irv expensive. Thanks for any info. Best regards
@nydad3 We received merit information by mail, as well as the school information. It took awhile for the portal to update the school, even after we’d heard. The merit letter came in December, probably a month after the original acceptance. Good luck to you!

- Has anyone one had a child who attended Camp Kelley? Was it worth it and do you recall what the cost was? Could you move in early to your dorm?
- Has anyone had a child that did the online course work the summer before their freshman year?

hi I’ve been admitted under the university division … pre-business. not sure what that means can someone help me out 
it means you didn’t get into Kelley, but you can still petition tho…
they say the petition deadline is over and I have to do the first year under University Division. does that make sense ?
yeah that means you’ll be taking general business classes to get you prepared for Kelley and you can apply for standard admission your sophmore year
