Anyone heard from CSUs?

Accepted to: CSUB, CSULB, and SFSU

Denied: SDSU [it’s all good, I got accepted to UCSB  ]

@TransferDK if I were you, I would def put in a appeal. It was not your fault that collegeboard was late sending your AP score. That was entirely out of your hands, you did everything you had to do to get accepted.
Have you called the school about your situation?

I have visited their school and talked to their admissions office. They were merciless, told me I had a month to send the AP score (it was a week into it when I asked)

Hi All, I have got an offer from CSU, Fresno for CS Program? Will you please suggest me about CSU, Fresno. How good is the CS Program for MS? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

@transferDK wow, that’s messed up! Wasn’t your fault at all. You would think that they would be a little sympathetic about the situation since they know it’s not in your hands at all.

That would be nice but their reaction made me not want to go to their school anyway. A bit bitter about that.

I got accepted into Cal Poly Pomona a few weeks ago! I’m studying aerospace engineering. Its the only Cal State I applied to, I’m hoping to go to a UC but still haven’t heard from any of them.

I still haven’t heard from CSUN or CSU San Marcos. Getting nervous.

Fresno is an average CSU but a degree in CS from anywhere is golden. A degree in Computer Science from CSU Fresno will put you in much better shape than a graduate from UC Berkeley or UCLA if they majored in English or History.

I got into fresno too only csu i applied to because I like their football team and the campus vibe.Dont know if Ill go since I got accepted to UCR

Accepted to cal poly, east bay, sac state and ucr so far.

Why is this so hard… I’m being indecisive yet again and pulling out Schools back from the list that I took off

Cal Poly Pomona - Business Administration (B.S): Computer Information Systems, Operations Management Minor ($2,500 Scholarship)

San Francisco State University - Business Administration (B.S.): Information Systems, Finance Minor

University of California, Davis - Managerial Economics (B.S.): Environment and Resource Economics, Applied Computing and Information Systems Minor

University of California, Santa Cruz - Business Management Economics (B.A.), Technology and Information Systems Minor

Can anyone help me rank these schools based on their Business Program? My parents told me money doesn’t play a factor in a decision. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for the info.

Any out-of-area transfer students hear anything yet? California residents only, please.

If I were you Id go to UC Davis because of the name and its overall ranking. Its rated top 50 in the nation and voted one of the happiest student campus.

Thanks Anthony! It was one of my top choices!

@chronocross Remember to look at not only the school name and its prestige, but the cost, location, difficulty and its major rating. Im also having difficulty choosing between UC Davis and CSULB due to cost and CSULB’s communication program (my major)

Finally heard back from Pomona: yes! Provisional admit (one of my transcripts never made it there) to civil engineering. Still don’t know where I’ll go. Waiting to hear back from UC’s before I decide.

@TransferDK

YES! It’s so hard right? Especially since I’m majoring in Business/Econ. I’ve compared the upper division to each school and honestly CPP’s upper division for Business Administration is pretty great. UCS are very researched based, so I guess if I majored straight in Economics I would go to a UC but I’m still unsure.
