Anyone planning/applying/applied to Brown?

Brown is my one and only dream school. If I don't get Brown, I think I'd actually just prefer to stay in Canada. xD

YEA! me next year, I love that brown has the open curriculum and pass/fail! And its an hour from Boston, where my aunt/uncle/cousin lives AND the home of my beloved Boston Red Sox!

Some other schools I will apply to next year are: Rice, UT, Baylor, Harvard, Wayne State (MedStart)

These are the ones I will apply to for sure, i will figure out other ones next year. I will apply to McGill, McMaster, and Western in Canada, but I’m almost positive (like 99% sure) that I won’t be in Canada for uni.

I applied. (The supplementary essay prompts were at least loads better/easier than a lot of my other ones :))

But Brown was the only school where I didn’t apply FA so I don’t know if I’ll end up heading to another school that offers me FA. -shrug-

I’d apply next year ^^
Good luck to anyone applying now or in the future!!!
And ViggyRam, personally, I think that if you don’t get Harvard, just go to McGill (assuming that you’re a future med student)

McGill’s med program is almost as good as Harvard’s  plus it’s so much cheaper >.>

yea, but I’m going to the US for sure, like the 1% chance is if a disaster happens or something so unbelievable dramatic happens. I’m getting my green card in couple years or so and I guess the US gives so much more opportunity. But yea, McGill is really great, have to agree.

And yea, I’ll be a premed, and the US has so many more med. schools (more chance of getting in). And the warm weather is a plus (if I get into Rice for undergrad or something :D)
