I know it is up online, but when I called the financial aid office, they said the "official" offer is not what is shown online, but rather what you receive in the mail. So I am waiting to see the mailed FA package before making any commitments, just in there are any discrepancies. So has anyone received it in the mail yet? If not, does anyone know when we should expect them? Thanks in advance!!

Actually, I’ve heard that both the letter and online offers are both estimated packages and that the official one wont be until matriculation. They did tell me that if your FAFSA, CSS and 2011 tax forms all stay the same, then it will be exactly the same as your letter and online posting.

i still haven’t even received mine online,am i the only one?? I’m dying not knowing!

I received my D’s financial aid online by logging into Gweb. However, she did not receive a notification email that it had been posted or was available. I also called the fin. aid office and was told to print the award letter from Gweb since they don’t mail them out.

The more I read the more inconsistent GW’s replies are to this matter.

Anyone know how the hell you can access your financial aid without first committing to the university?

Below are GW’s directions re: how you can access financial aid. After you log in, if you don’t see any aid listed, I suggest you email the Financial Aid office and tell them you need the aid info in order to make your decision -
