Skewl, same result here. I feel so badly for my son. He has other great choices which he actually prefers but with the acceptances came quite a few rejections. He is also psyched about Northwestern. I’m trying to find more info about it though.

I suggest sending a private message to Connections on this board if you want great info on Northwestern. She has a daughter there now. I will in fact tell Connections to take a look at this thread.

In a another thread titles Sons Confession a member named Threed posted about her wonderful meeting last week with the head of the department at Northwestern.

Connections has a daughter who is a Freshman there. You might try to private message her for info.

Actingdad Jinx!

Thanks folks. I will take your advice!

Congrats AdaQuince and Whatsgood!!! AdaQuince, you guys are in great shape… :)

Geekgirl, fingers crossed for you.

BU was a “no” for my son too, but he is neither surprised nor upset (he knew it was a huge stretch academically and a tough admit for anyone artistically). His audition experience was great and he has already committed to his first-choice school, but he’s still avidly checking FB updates to see who HAS gotten in, so I will keep my eye on this thread! Congrats to all who have BU as an option–it’s a distinctive program with phenomenal kids and faculty!
