in terms of the school.. not usc > ucla biz/econ :P

it has a cool name. well better than, Haas. < ***?

Hmm, not really.

the accounting school has a cool name
leventhal... almost looks like leviathan
if you just glance at the word quickly

no, we don't like you.

why would anyone here want to convince you to go to a certain school? you must be an only child.

meh. I was just trying to have some variety in thread title.
but yes, now that I read it again it does sound kinda lame...

anyway... does anyone have actual experience with marshall undergrad and looked for jobs (or gotten recruited) with a degree from there? most of the stuff people have posted are based on rankings and curriculums (and course prerequisites, heh) and I don't see too much practicality in them.

I could suggest a reason to convince you not to go to Marshall.

I hear the curve is God-awful. Marshall is good for jobs on the west coast - I wouldn't count on anything great on the east coast unless you've got connections.

Isn't this true for ALL the schools in the westcoast with the exception of Stanford and CalTech? And I think same goes for the schools in the East Coast regarding job placement in the Westcoast unless it's an Ivy or MIT

Probably, but I'd say Haas would be better if you were thinking on a national level. Then again, if you're thinkin east coast then it'd be best to not go to school in Cali.

"Haas would be better if you were thinking on a national" + international "level."
