yea dude, i've never even been inside CKB or Mews nor do I know anyone who lives in there. Do the people who live there even go out?

Dickson/Donlon are the best because of the great social atmosphere. Although Risley was an enriching experience last year, I definitely would not mind having a "Freshman living in Dickson" experience.

Suites kill the social atmosphere of dorms. I know pre-frosh don't listen (I didn't) but please, LISTEN.

dew drop <3 you

awwww....we're manipulated information buddies :-)

Well, its not like I havent tried a double because Im living in a double right now for the summer program

But every single night almost, my roommate has gotten angry at me because I tend to sleep at 2am while he sleeps at 10pm =D Judging from my fall roommate's profile, he sleeps at 10pm as well.

Its not like im self-centered, I just dont wanna bother my roommate when they sleep because I tend to pull all nighters if I have to.

One other thing is that Im not begging for a single, i was just thinking others had the same situation because they probably wanted a double and got a single instead. So..I was just putting this thread out there to give them a chance =)

All nighters are awful....and counterproductive.

Just FYI...if you feel the need for one...Uris is open 24/7 during the week and I found it to be a more comfortable study space than my dorm room.

there are many many advantages to singles for which some individuals may be willing to pay.

privacy

no roommate stench

you can be as messy or neat as you want

you can study in your room... a huge advantage

you can have anyone over at any time

no deaththreats (as mentioned above)

no sexile incidents

you don't need to worry about waking up your roommate after a late study session in the library

you can watch movies or whatever without using headphones

it satisfies the animal instinct for territory
