AP Amount Junior Year

Hey everyone,
I am a junior currently and I am taking 7 AP classes. This is a very rigorous schedule. I plan on dropping one of them for tennis, which will not be used to calculate my weighted gpa. Should I drop this course for tennis, or should I keep it. I have an 86 in the Ap class, and it will get harder. Will colleges look at me differently if I have 6APs rather than 7 AP classes?

Thanks

To clarify, my grade in tennis, will be weighted less since its not an AP. But it will not effect my rank and weighted GPA, since it is GPA exempt, (cannot bring it down). So it will be like I am taking 7 AP classes (a gpa of 5.0 out of 5.0) when I am taking tennis and 6 real APs. Will colleges look at me differently or not?

no that is way too intensive even at 6 aps. If tennis is something you live, then you should probably drop an Ap so you could go under less stress during the school year.

maybe overexaggerated but still I believe colleges won’t look any differently

BUMP

What does your schedule look like? Which AP is it that you are considering dropping?

Im planning to drop AP psychology,
I have AP Stats, AP Enviro Science, AP English, AP US Hist, Pre Cal (Honors same weight), AP French IV

Well, you’ll have 5 AP’s instead of 6, not 6 instead of 7, but no, one less will not be a deal breaker in this case.
