We can’t ever discuss the multiple choice, but you can discuss the MC slide-based questions that were released with the FRQs.

^^Nope, it was Kufic.

Awh, I thought we would discuss them. So we can only talk about the essays?

Now that the free response have been released, I feel comfortable mentioning my essay topics. For the first essay, I used the Terra Cotta Army and the Easter Island Moai. For the second essay, I used the Merode triptych and Death of Marat. Overall I am very proud of both of my long essays, hopefully graders feel the same.
As for the short answer, I was confident for 4/6 of them. Not sure about the building, went with Romanesque on that one. Also, the Turner piece caused me extreme mental insanity for me for at least two hours after the test. Not only could I not identify it, I could not even tell what was in the painting. I could have sworn that “train” was a wine bottle resting on a ledge, haha. Oh well, you can’t win all of them right? Still fairly confident I got a five on this one, and I’m quite happy about this test.

I’m not -____-

314159265, are you sure it was Kufic? I put that, but everyone in my class seemed to think it was Aramaic?

Also, what was the awnser to the one about the movement Klimt belonged to? Was it Vieena secession or Arts and Crafts?

The painting was turner-rain, steam and speed. The architecture was baroque (Borromini) but I got that one wrong.

Question: Do the scoring guidelines as well as sample student works come out before we get our ap scores or during the same time?

I thought the MC was really hard (a lot of vocab I hadn’t studied), but the essays went pretty well. I identified everything correctly (in the short essays, not in the MC, lol) although I left the book of hours one half finished. Probably should have done more practice essays so I could pace myself better; I ended up leaving several essays unbalanced.
For the materials one I used Qingbian Mountain by Dong Qichang (definitely spelled it wrong) and Michelangelo’s David.
For the domestic one I used Merode Altarpiece and Marriage a la Mode. Felt awesome using the word “liminal.”

I have the same question as Quillandscroll!

And how did you guys do on the released MC questions?

I missed 10 on the slide based questions -______- SHOOOT ME!

I believe guidelines come out in mid-August and sample responses even later afterwards, so we’ll get our scores before.

Positive. It was in the Crash Course. Plus, [Kufic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Kufic - Wikipedia). Also, Aramaic was the language of ancient Jewish people (remembered that from the South Park episode on Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ and Cartman’s Nazi chant :P) and the image was Arabic (presumably of the Koran).

21/36. Totally bombed the Old St. Peter’s and Goya sets.

Vienna Secession.

I missed around ten as well There are some where I hesitated between two answer choices, and I cannot remember if I chose a trick answer or the correct one but hopefully I did right…

Hey… I must have not done that bad. EVERYONE Tell us what you got for slide based. I want to see the average :D

meh, i got 8 wrong for the first 36. not too bad.

for the second essay, is it wrong to put architecture and NOT PAINTING?

Wow, I had no idea they posted the slide MC two days after the test! I only missed 6, and I missed the most on the Goya set.

Hopefully I do as eqully well on the rest of the exam, I would really like a 4!

Also, Smarty1201, 10 isn’t so bad, there was llike 70 other MC questions and I think everyone thought the slide based was harder than the other MC. And if you are concerned about bombing the first two essays, the smaller ones counted for a larger precent of the essay portion.

11 wrong on released MC, if I went with my gut that those two pieces were Gothic I could have done better.

Give it to me straight, do you guys think the curve will be lowe, higher, or about the same as that of 2009? (140/200 is a 5) I thought the MC was harder than usual.
