AP Art History

Hi everyone,

so I'm taking APArt History this year (junior) and I'm kind of freaking out about the test next month. The actual class is sort of a joke and we do get homework, but that's only suggested reading from the textbook and it is not enforced. I (foolishly)stopped reading the textbook in January due to work from other classes and the parts of the book that I did read, I forgot.

I plan on reviewing for the test by reading the Barron's book and the Annotated Mona Lisa. Is this enough? Can someone who's taken the class and the test tell me more about the test, what I need to focus on, and how else I can study? I really want atleast a four.

thank you!!

bumpppppppp

please guys bumppppppp

Look at past tests. I personally have not taken the test but am very familiar with the test (I almost self studied for it). You should know several paintings, sculptures and artists for each movement (and not just your standard da Vinci and Warhol). You should also know all the major architecture movements and the terminology that goes along with it. You should also know all of the religious art from early on. Beyond that one again, look at past tests, they are the best indicator of the difficulty.

I wish my school offered Art History. You’re lucky.
