i have a question about ap scholar awards. i know i received one because i just calculated the grades myself, but i'm yet to receive the letter in the mail. can i just go ahead and write it down on my ea application? thanks a lot.

Yes they do, but by the time you get them they don't really matter beyond personal satisfaction and bragging rights. The score is what's important if you want college credit.

My son received his letter in the mail today. Hopefully yours will be there soon!

ohhhh werd.

I got mine in the mail today!!!

got mine today. about time too. i am still waiting to recieve my national merit stuff (yes i called and they said i qualified....)

does it really matter if we forget to put down AP scholar awards?

because I def. forgot that for my QB app... though they do see all my AP scores..

i got mine today...but where do we put it on the common app?

^ Probably under the Honors section?

I got mine today in NY (AP Scholar with Distinction) :)

Daughter finally got hers today (AP Scholar with Distinction).

whooo got mine. ap scholar with honor =]

w/honor here...
dang
i was hoping they counted the calc ab subscore as an 'exam'
cuz then i would have been
w/distinction

lol i stilllll havent gotten mine yet...theyre so speedy w/these things

Yeah im waiting on mine.. can't wait, im proud :)

yay, i'm happy with ap scholar with distinction at the beginning of senior year.

are most people here posting current senior, or people who have completed high school? because it makes a difference if you recieve the award after your junior year, versus after your senior year.

My S also received his (AP Scholar for tests in sophomore year, last weekend.

I'm pretty sure nothing counts as a separate exam unless you pay the extra fee (e.g. for AP Physics C the teacher told us we'd be paying for the two exams to be taken, one in mechanics and the second in electricity/magnetism.

^ Wait, so AP Physics C counts as only one test?
Is it possible to take the Physics B, Physics C, and Biology test all in one year?

Got mine. The mail man put it in my neighbor's box...

Got mine too! (:
omg, my mail man delivers mail to other people too D:<
we always get mail that belongs to our neighbors, but no one ever returns our mail so i wonder if my mail is lost ):
