oh and before you answer, if anyone knows the answer, please tell me. can i cancel one of the scores i already found out about to still be eligible for an ap award THIS year? like say i don't qualify for ap scholar with distinction, but if i cancel a score, i do. can i still do this for THIS year? thanks in advance!

I’m getting AP Scholar, since I failed the AP Chemistry exam. Lol!

Anyway, I’m not sure if you could do that, but it would be a nice little loophole. If you can, tell me so I can get rid of that nasty score, hahaha.

hey i have an interesting question. It doesnt apply to me but I am just curious.

Lets say that you get like an award which requires a certain number of 3+ and also to have your scores above a certain average (take the AP Scholar with distinction for example, in which you need 5 3+s and 3.5 average)

What if you take another AP test (you already received that award from last year), and you do so bad that your average for AP tests is now below the average to get that award.

When they give out awards, do they take all of your scores from all years into consideration? Probably seems like a stupid question, but I’m not entirely sure.

With the 6 tests from this year, I got National Scholar (and I guess all the ones under that). Does anyone know from experience whether you get the “lower” awards also?

National AP Scholar after junior year. yay! (i’m sure there’s a lot of us on CC, but i hear there’s only like 600 overall, so pretty good, i would say )
