AP Bio vs. AP Chem

I'll be a junior next year, and I'm not sure whether to take AP Chem or AP Bio...
(right now, I'm getting pretty good grades in AP Calc and AP Physics C/Mechanics—the thing is, I only have a B in honors chem right now, so I'm not sure whether taking AP Chem is such a good idea...my honors bio grades were much better)

so...
1) would it be unwise for me to take ap chem next year? (i actually enjoy physics/math lol, so i thought ap chem might be a better match, but considering my current chem grade...)
2) is ap bio or ap chem generally easier? (i'm taking physics e&m next year for sure, so i don't want to kill myself here...)

I took AP Chem last year and am taking AP Bio right now.

In my opinion…

AP Bio involves more memorization but is a LOT more straightforward. I find it significantly easier than AP Chem.

AP Chem is more conceptual and challenging. It’s still doable, but be prepared! :)

Good luck with your decision.

I’m in both right now and AP Bio is by far more difficult.

However, this might be due to the teachers. I think most people get 1’s on the AP Chem test, while the Bio exam is probably closer to a 3 average for my school. I hear the AP Chem test is killer, but I don’t think Bio is a cakewalk either.

I took AP Chem with no prior Chem experience. It was hell. I had no idea what the heck was going on.

AP Bio is just reading.

AP is just reading, but it’s an intense amount of reading. conceptually it may be easier, but be prepared to do a lot more work

In Honors Chemistry, I thought I was the bomb. Everything was so easy and the class was actually fun. Then came AP Chemistry. Oh the horror!

Take AP Biology.
