AP Bio vs. SATII Bio

i heard that if you have taken AP Biology in school, it's easier to score an 800 on the SATII test..
is that true?

It definitely makes sense, but it's possible to score an 800 without completing AP Bio. I got an 800 on Bio M when I took it in December. I was only three or so months into AP Bio. Just study from Barrons and maybe another book and you'll do well.

AP Biology covers more in more detail than the SAT II test, so if you do well in AP Bio, it should correlate into an 800 or high 700s on the SAT II.

I took only Regular Biology and got a 650 =)

I got a 5 on the AP test and a 780 on Bio-M. The SAT II Bio goes less in depth than the AP test, although they cover mostly the same content.

I got 800 with a year of just honors bio... an 800 is very likely with AP. The subject test isn't very hard. :)

I took AP Bio online, and got a our on the exam.

Eight months later, having forgotten all of it, I cracked the PR book and got an 800 on the subject test.

I think its easier with AP Bio, but it isn't necessary.
