So I've been going through the 02' exam and it looks like PR did a pretty well job of reviewing the material.

Gah, the FRQ's just scare the crap outta me >_>

Mk, PR says:

1: Molecules and cells (not too bad, just know the different organelles and the differences between prokaryotes and eukaryotes

2: Heredity and Evolution (again it doesn't sound so bad, but going through previous FRQ's makes me second guess my self)

3: Organisms and Populations (O_o)

4: Lab FRQ

ithebigc, if you want to compare the 2 books, pm me ;)

But yeah, the books are mostly the same. I still don't know why so many people were hating on it, I <3 the diagrams it gives. For instance, when it explains the nervous system, it gives a nice visual of what's going on. On the other hand with cliffs, it just gives the info

Well, my friend and I found a glaring error in PR. Apparently it says sponges (Porifera) have radial symmetry, which it doesn't. That's when I got a Cliffs book.

Ah, it's ok, ahmah007. I just wanted to kinda know, because I hoped I was studying the right thing, so that on the actual test I won't be going "O_o this wasn't in PR...." I agree that some diagrams are good, but some are like....what? Like "A Closer Look at Photosynthesis"

It's good to hear that some ppl like PR more....I usually trust them, which is why I went with it, even besides the fact that the reviews on Amazon suck and Cliffs has like glowing ones.

Yeah, Cliffs does have glowing reviews on Amazon. I got it, and it's so boring and complicated though. It doesn't really make anything simple (at least for me). I'm reading 5 Steps to a 5 now. Has anyone else used that?

lmao.
NADH, NADPH, FADH(2) ugh
Probably good to remember that
NADH=> 3 ATP
FADH(2)=> 2 ATP!
gjaskl;j
i'm gonna fail fail fail
haha
i like carelessly took a cliffs ap test and missed a million and still managed a 5.
is cliffs ACCURATE?? for grading

"which types of plants like which photosynthesis: C3, C4, CAM????"

C3 is the norm, C4 is a generic evolutionary adaptation (benefits plants in all environments, but more efficient photosynthesis probably helps plants in dry environments the most), and CAM is very good for plants in dry environments, since it can keep its stomata closed at night. (or day, I forget)

Let's just calm down and get plenty of rest.

I've talked to alot of people in the past who have freaked out alot on the AP Bio...and then on test day, they said that it just came to them. They ALL got 5's. Most are not even that bright.

AP Bio is just that forgiving.

So guys...relax =) and good luck. and remember, BS is your friend

I'm actually taking the sparknotes diag test right now..its pretty hard. is it accurate?...OMG MY TIMER!
