DARWIN
lmao

RNA Processing:
RNA is modified.
T is replaced with U
Junk is cut out.
A Poly-A tail (AAA) is added in back.
Cap head is added in front.

and in the Cell cycle, wat is a general overview of each step of Mitosis...i know G1, S, G2...but then a bit confused about the chromosomes...besides the general stuff metaphase...lines up...anaphase, separates, telophase...tears

mendel, pastuer, pauling, meselson, urey, some other people i guess

lol well darwin of course, but i was talking about in genetics, theres like all those: hershey/chase, messelson stahl

What is G1, S, G2 (in interphase)?

And which one occurs twice mitosis or meiosis?

will the test refer to prometaphase?

for meselson stahl, the experiement with tubes alwasy produced mixture of hybrid DNA and dark DNA?

meiosis, I think G1 is the cells usual state, S is when the cell duplicates the DNA, and G2 is when the cell is growing

i thought it was lighter C14 and hybrid C14 and C15

i dont think prometaphase matters since PR doesnt have it, but textbook does, so it's fair game, but I think prophase/metaphase are more important

meiosis occurs twice, and yes interphase is with those 3 parts, im sure u knew it

Future, what do you think of PR? I've gone through the whole thing and I feel really good about tomorrow's exam (cept the lab part)

I also have cliffs notes and most of the info is the same, it's just that PR's writing is so much easier to understand.

Any idea how many questions you can skip and still get a 4 or 5? My strategy is to skip every single question I don't know the answer to... which will probably be about 20 questions out of the 120, considering how I've done on the practice ones so far.

whats a good way to review different groups (amino, alkyl, methyl...) and their structural/molecular formular, this is my weakest area...

it was LIGHT and HYBRID

sandra, make a chart, that's the only way it organizes into your mind, i made one on a notecard listing name, info, example

ahmad, i feel the same, but some of the stuff in PR i went through like 2 weeks ago, so I feel like I am forgetting things

ahmad, i feel the same, but some of the stuff in PR i went through like 2 weeks ago, so I feel like I am forgetting things AND ITS ONLY 100 Q's:)

i have pr too it makes everything seem so much easier but im starting to second guess myself

which types of plants like which photosynthesis: C3, C4, CAM????

Oh, really, ahmadh007? Does anyone else have the PR book? I went with the PR one because I usually trust PR for every single test, but I've heard some not so good reviews on Amazon. Cliffs, on the other hand, is like everyone's favorite for Bio. So I wasn't sure if I was learning the right things...is it really like the Cliff's, except easier to understand? Because I don't understand some things at all <.< Like, it writes the RNA, DNA chapter in really hard to understand language.

Ceebee, it depends on how well you do on the free response. and there's 100 questions, not 120. About 45 sec per question
