Hi, I’m a current HS freshman who’s self-studying AP Calc AB. I took a mock exam offered by my school district and although I got a 5 (it was a borderline 5 only because I got a 42/45 on MC; otherwise I likely would have got a 4 or even a 3)), I scored awfully low on the FRQs (24/54), only because I had never done them before and had absolutely no idea how to do so. I feel like I have a strong understanding of the concepts (which is why I had a solid MC score), but I have trouble figuring out what to do with the FRQs. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any sources where I could learn how to do FRQs and practice them so I don’t have to worry about not getting a 5. I would really appreciate any insight.?

Anyone?
Whoops sorry I didn’t read this. I’m a freshman as well and I took the exam yesterday…how do you think it went?
@sq1rrel Pretty good… I think I got a 5 but not entirely sure. The FRQs were definitely harder than those from past years (idk how much we can talk about it so I’m not gonna say too much) and I skipped one or two parts–expecting to get about a 42/54. MC was pretty straightforward tho–expecting a 40/45 on that. Won’t ever end up knowing my raw score though
@APCaptain I did just that when the FRQs got released haha that’s why I was able to have an estimate as to what I got on my FRQs.
