AP Calc BC, AP Bio, and AP USH in junior year

I am currently a sophomore right now and I plan on taking AP Calc BC, AP Bio, and AP USH next year. As of now, I have been recommended to take Calc BC and Bio, but I'm unsure about whether or not I should take US. Here's what I think about each course:

AP Calculus BC: All concepts from AB plus additional concepts
AP Biology: Applications of what I know and lots of memorization
AP US History: Lots of memorization and essay writing

So what can I actually expect from these courses? How much work is there and how difficult are the courses? How interesting are the topics in the courses?

Please keep in mind that I have a strong math background and a strong memorization skill. However, how well I memorize will depend on how interested I am in the course.
