i think i did well on the MC but on one of the FR, i didn't realize it was an electrolytic cell and I did most of the problem backwards...

5/760 (May 07)

what on sat II should i specifcally make sure to look at that wasnt on AP

Sat Chem: 730
AP Chem: 3=/

W/e, both were self-study.

Wooooooooooo I Got A 5

what if I fubar'd that lab question?

I got a 5, but i honestly thought that i was going to get a 4 because i completely messed up the last two frqs (guessed on the color change, didnt know how to draw IF3)....but i also felt like i guessed a lot on the MC.

but that just shows that you can be far from perfect and still get a 5

lol yea i did one of the FR completely backwards and still got a 5

The test turned out to be easier than I thought. I was so nervous beforehand. I walked out of it feeling pretty confident, but afterwards, I started having some doubts about one of the FRQs (the Gibbs free energy/entropy/enthalpy one). Oh yeah, and I wasn't at all sure about the titration FRQ either. But overall, the reactions section was much much easier than what I anticipated, since my chem teacher had given us much harder reactions all year long. The MC was also pretty easy.

Got a 5.

I got a 730 on the SAT II test, though, because I took it as a sophomore. Concepts that are now ingrained in my mind were still kind of hard back then, and I got tripped up on the T/F/CE section.

I had no idea that the reaction FRQ was going to be on there, but I still got a 5

how do you guys know your scores already?

you think a 800 on SAT2 chem will get me a 5? T_T ahhhhhhh
i had a really bad teacher whole year, hope i didn't self teach myself wrong

i got a 3 and i told my teacher she and her class was a waste of time
it seriously was

from what i heard, no
sat2 is way more of skimming concepts

it doesn't guarantee a 5 but i got a 790 on the SAT 2 chem and a 5 on the ap

hey do u guys think that the curve was low this year (considering that so many ppl messed up FR) or that we are just a bunch of Ivy-league bound perfectionists who obsses over one small part of a test and think it doomed us

Probably both. :)

i think the curve was huge this year..i ended up with a 5 even though i completely screwed up 2-3 FR

^ how did u screw up 2-3 FR? like which ones. bc i think i did too and im waiting to get my score in the mail lol

lol well, i did the electrolytic cell question backwards (didn't look at the diagram carefully), on the titration questions (the one with m, g, V or w/e) i didn't realize that g = mass of entire iron compound because again, i didn't read carefully so i screwed up a bunch there, then on the last one i got 2 parts wrong because i was being retarded

^ i did the electrochem one backwards too. hmm..there might be hope for me after all =)
