AP Chemistry Score Question

I was wondering if anyone out there bombed question number 1 on the f.r. portion of the AP Chemistry test and still managed to pull off a 5?

What about anybody that bombed question 1 and question 7 on the f.r. and still pulled off a 5 or a 4?

bump..................

I bombed FR 2 (got at most 3 points) and I got a 5

But I know I got 65+ MC, plus 15/15 on net ionics and perfects on FR1 and 6

I had no lab experience, and faield almost all the questions after whatever number the writing equations is. (3 i think?)

So all my FR points were from 1 2 and the equations.

I pulled a 5 though. I'm sure I missed 1 or 2 at most on the MC. MC points are really great.

I bombed question 2, did not get max points on several questions, at most 12/15 on the equations, probably missed 10-15 questions on the mutliple choice, and got a 5. I guess there was a good curve.

Yeah, I think so. People were saying this was a harder test than before, but it wasn't too bad for lots of us here. Still, gotta love that nice curve!

How did u guys get your scores already? I'm assuming you took the exam this past spring. I thought that grades were not made available until July 1 by phone!?

ohh, and out of curiosity, is it possible pull a 4 with a raw score of 45 on the MC and about 2/3 of all F.R. correct?

Phone scores were put up early, so they're available now.

just an update, called and got a 5 in ap chem while bombing questions 1 and 7 on f.r. and prolly arounda 45 or lower m.c. either the curve was really easy or the f.r. grader was high.

AAAAAAH!!! Am I the only one who get less than a 5 on AP Chem this year on CC. Unlike everybody else that I talked to who got a 5 but said before they did bad on the test, I actually got a 4 even though I thought the test was decently easy. Did overconfidence kill me or was my AP grader high?????? How do you contact Collegeboard??? I demand a recount...lol...;)

Haha manonfire! I got a 4 too. I really don't mind, but it'll be a b-tch facing my score-obsessed classmates in AP Physics next year! (Btw, congrats to everyone here who got a 5, I'm just complaining about two or three specific people at my school.)

i got 4 also =(

I got a 4, but I'm satisfied. If only you knew the teacher/people I had to deal with in that class... I'm just glad it's behind me.

hey for those of you who got a 4, how do you think you did on the mc and fr?

[all the 5s on this website are discouraging me from believing that the curve this year is supposed to be easier :(]

I thought MC was beyond hard while the FR was easy, but not that easy. I calculated my possible score a lot beforehand using previous AP Grade Rubrics and I was always on the edge between a 4 and a 5. Oh well...life goes on.

i got a 4 :( that lab was my killer. I didn't know anything. I left is blank. I also lost some points on the battery question becuase I got confused with battery vs. electrolysis. I also shouldve answer more MC.

i got a 3!!!!! i am so mad. i did well on MC but then really screwed up #3 and #7 FRQ

I got a 4 too. I didn't know anything about "glowing sticks". I think most of FR questions were easy, but some were kinda tricky. And I don't remember anything about MC anymore, but I remember I was running out of time...

I didnt get mine yet but I remember I blew the lab question(no lab in class) and MC probably wasnt impressive but im 100% sure I aced the equation writing part. I expected a 2 at first, then I realised the curve will probably get me a 3. BUT from what im hearing I probably got a 4.

does anyone still remember how many they left blank on mc?

i only left 3 black on the mc.
