what were the reactants for the complex ion reaction?

^^Goddamn I mixed up electrochemical and electrolytic.

^Can’t say.

@greedisgood, we’re not supposed to say, sry :(

I loved question number 75.

I had a brain fart at some point during the test and forgot that the delta H for an exothermic reaction is negative, and got one or two multiple choice questions wrong because of that.

I found most of this test, with the exception of the calculator FRQ section, easy. The equilibrium question was OK, but we never did the lab that that question was based on in class. I still think I got the right answer for parts b and c. Parts a ii through a iv, though, I totally messed up.
The reaction prediction questions were very easy, other than (possibly) part b.
Question 5 was also easy, although I worried that I wrote too much for part b and boxed the important parts of the answer (I don’t want to be seen by the grader as doing scattershot).
Question 6 was also exceedingly easy, so much that I barely even remember it.

WAIT WERE THOSE THE ACTUAL NUMBERS? i didn’t mean too. i literally just chose two numbers off the top of my head and made one less than the other. should i delete that…

a;dslfjadl;ksfja;lkdsf

Why are you guys discussing the specific questions AND answers? You do know that a student had his IP address traced and his exam invalidated for doing this…

And you’re only hurting yourselves. For the people that have yet to take the exam, they will see the answers and will mess up the curve for us…stop.

No, they were not the actual numbers. I just used what you had. And Bioboy is right, I’m deleting all the “answers” I put

can someone tell me if those were the actual numbers… because i honestly can’t remember.

oh okay thanks nostalgic. and yeah, no being specific or anything. i should probably check through, too

don’t the exams have to be administered today?

Haha, if there were people looking at this, they’d be on their phones during the test in Hawaii, about to get their scores invalidated.

Everyone has taken the test. Those who take the make-up get a different test.

Oh God…Form B. If you haven’t taken this test and plan on taking form B…Literally kill yourself now. If we thought the regular test was bad…oh man form B will f**k you up…

Some people may have started late and might have had a chance to look at this thread. After all, people have been posting answers here since 4:30…

And you have to worry about time zones, people taking APES, make-up exams, international tests…it’s a hassle and it’s risky. Play it safe and wait 2 days. I mean, we all probably have another AP that we should be studying for but are wasting time on CC… xD

would form B be scaled the same way as form A? i bet form B is so much easier… it’s not fair !!

No, everybody has taken the exam, and, if they haven’t, they will take a make up exam. The 48 hours are just an excessive precautionary measure taken by CB.

form b is almost always harder. I think the reason is because CB realizes some people plan to “skip” exams in which case they would get an unfair advantage with more studying, and thus they counter that advantage with a harder test with the same curve as Form A. It’s not always true though

Then again, difficulty is subjective I found this year’s FRQ easier than the one I had on my mock(I’m guessing 2003?) FRQ

true, it depends on what you studied more for and what you didn’t study enough of
for me, all the topics I studied for weren’t on the test and all the topics I barely touched were all over the test… sucks for me -headdesk-

ps: are all American students enrolled in AP chemistry required to take the exam? or just the smart people who want to take a challenge? I’m not American, so just wondering.

Wait I actualy didn’t think the FRQs were that bad… maybe it’s because my teacher gives us REALLY REALLY hard tests throughout the year to make the AP test look easier but the only FRQs that were ehhh were the lab one but I used my intuition from the dozens of labs we did and the KMT one which was simply because I didn’t review that so I wasn’t sure if what I was talking about was part of the KMT ^^. Hopefully, there’s a generous curve though.
