Ok, so next year, as a sophmore, I'm taking French III (H), Chemistry (H), English II (H), Algebra 2 (H), AP World History, AP European History, and AP Biology. I know this is a LOT of work, and a lot of commitment, which leads to my question. I need tips to how to organize myself so I have the best experience with these classes. I know there are people who take all AP classes and there has to be a way to fnish all their work and meet deadlines and so on. So, if you have an experience, please let me know! Thanks! :)

Just as an fyi, I also volunteer weekly and am in debate and french club

Holy sh-. World, Euro, and Bio?! Dude, you must really want to die. The way people can do their AP filled schedule is because it’s balanced. People’s schedules are half hard and half easy. You’re doing 2 histories and a heavy memorization science course, that is sure to get your brain fried. What happens if you have a world, euro, and bio test all on the same day? I know people who have APUSH and AP bio and it’s hell for them. And APUSH is easier than World and Euro. Seriously, I think you should drop one of the history courses. You still have 3 more years to take those courses.

Wow - you seriously went for all the reading/memorization intensive classes.

Thanks for the support! :D

Drop one of the History courses, really. It’s not worth it.

Dude, if u want to do, do it. Yes it’s not very balanced but you’re obviously interested in history. Bio isn’t too difficult n is just memorization like history. Granted I didn’t take any of those classes, I am IB and have taken AP classes/exams. I think you can do it, but think the tips I would give someone would incorporate their schedule (like the official one with class times).

I don’t have a binder. I have a backpack. Of course, my system may or may not work for you…;)

Don’t spend too much time on your homework. If it’s a 5-15 point assignment…then BS it the block before, or turn it in late. Worry more about major papers, tests, etc. Unless your teachers weight HW more than 20% of your grade Then you’re in trouble.

I don’t know how your teachers handle the classes, but my AP Euro as a sophomore had me working 7-8 hours of homework per chapter, which, due to time constraints with the early exam, we went through in less than a week. And that was just written work. Then you have to study that crap.
AP Bio I know is super hard. A bunch of my friends take/have taken it. That’s a ton of work, too. That also means you’ll be working all summer plus the school year.
My advice is to drop one. Handling your time doesn’t always mean dealing with the work as it comes, but figuring out what you’ll be able to handle beforehand and choose your courses accordingly.
Remember: Those AP courses only make a difference if you do well in them. 2 APs with 4s or 5s on the tests will do more for you than 3 APs with 2s or 3s.

AP Euro + AP Bio + AP World = screwed. Sorry, but you would get a lot of hw from these classes next year.

This looks like a lot of memorization. If you’re good with memorizing and like history, go for it. You could try reading condensed versions of notes (coursenotes.com). I read that for APUSH, and it works pretty well.

It really depends on the school though… when I took AP World, I got more homework than I’d received in my life. But my AP Euro teacher very rarely gave homework, and when he did he really didn’t even check it. Didn’t take AP Bio but from what I’ve heard it’s a lot of work… you’re not the first and certainly won’t be the last to take on such a heavy load, so it’s certainly possible. I would recommend buying review books and using them to help you do your homework in those classes. You’ll be studying stuff you might not have learned in class.
