AP classes?! Scheduling?! Help!!

So… I’m in the process of scheduling and I need help with a few things. I’m going to be a junior next year. I am currently taking AP European History and AP Biology and I gave an A in both. Next year, I know that I am going to take AP English, AP US History, AP Studio Art, AP Physics 1, Precalculus H, and Spanish 3. My school offers a “zero period” which is a class you go to dailey for an hour to either take 7 classes or to get a free period. I was thinking about taking AP Economics as well but I wasn’t sure if that would be death for me. What is the workload generally like for these classes? Any advice?

APUSH is a lot of homework and memorization and linking. It is pretty intense as well as AP lang with all the essays. At my school Honors Precalc is a lot of homework as well as Spanish 3. I am not sure about studio art and physics 1

I am currently a junior and my sophomore year I also took AP euro and AP macro economics. I got A’s in both and a 4 on both of the exams. In my opinion AP euro is way harder than apush. Right now I am in AP bio, apush, AP psychology, and AP language. It all depends on the school but apush is relatively easy compared to euro. And AP Lang isn’t too bad if you are good at English. It’s a lot of essay writing and vocabulary. AP Economics wasn’t very difficult especially if you have been in a government class of any type but it was the most boring class I have ever taken (probably my teacher). Study halls are always a good thing especially with your workload but if you can’t fit in economics your senior year and it’s something you are really interested in you should take it.

As is the case with all AP classes, the workload is dependent upon the teacher. In terms of AP Euro vs APUSH vs AP WH, IMO the hardest class is whichever one you take first. Once you get used to the format of the exam, the second class is almost a piece of cake.

If you can sleep in and not be in class during period zero, that’d be my first choice for you. The schedule you’ve chosen is intense and teenagers’ brains need sleep to recuperate and perform. Don’t try to overschedule, the schedule as planned is very rigorous for any college in this country.
