we're starting to do scheduling at school and i was wondering ..........
would it be possible for me to skip intro to computer science
and go to the ap course right away ?

That's something that CCers probably wouldn't know- we're not sure about the requirements at your school. Ask your guidance counselor, but I'll warn you now that the answer is most likely going to be no. Unless you can show that you're incredibly proficient, you'll most likely need the stuff taught in the intro classes for the AP class.

Ap CS A is basically an intro course anyway.

If you're asking what the requirements are to skip, well I don't think anybody here would know for your particular school. However, if you're asking if you can handle CS A without previous CS experience, you'll be fine as long as you're pretty good at logic.
