AP Credit/Distribution Requirements

From the NU website, it's a little confusing which distribution requirements certain AP credits can be used towards. Specifically, she's a humanities kid, so she's looking to figure out which areas she can use her Statistics, AB Calc, US Gov't (Poly Sci) and Pyschology credits for. Anyone?

Thanks a lot.

Current student here.

Humanities? I'll assume she's in Weinberg.

Weinberg has 6 distribution areas, and you must take two courses in each. You can use AP Credits to fulfill a maximum of two of those twelve requirements, and both cannot be in the same area. Kinda lame. The extra are used as elective credit or placement into higher classes (for example, She could start in Math 224 as opposed to Math 220 because of AP Calc).

The AP Chart should say which courses the APs substitute for.

Stat and Math should both be the Formal studies, the math one, and Gov't should be the humanities one (forget what its called). Psychology I think you have a choice as which one you want to apply it to, because its science as well as the humanities one.

Thank you very much
