AP credit

I would like to know the maximum of AP credits can be credit to the Engineering program(BME or CHEM/BIOTECHNOLOGY major).
For example:
AP Calculus BC grade 6 or 7.
AP Biology grade 6 or 7.
AP Physics c two parts grade 6 or 7.
IB Chem HL grade 4 or5.

How many credits will I get?

Thanks,

I'm guessing you've flipped around the AP and IB grades? Because the max grade on AP is a 5 and a 4/5 on an IB HL test won't get you any credit. Here's a list of what credits you can get based on AP/IB test scores. I don't think there's any max number of AP/IB credits you can get (the 12 transfer-credit maximum doesn't apply to AP/IB)

Sorry Tanman, They are supposed to be all AP 4 or 5 and 6 or 7 for IB.

In that case, you should be able to get credit for General Bio I and II (w/ the lab waived), Intro Chem I and II + lab, Physics I and II (w/ the lab waived) and Calculus I and II. As an BME/ChemBE major, all of these will be useful for you except the General Bio (since BME's are required to take "Molecules and Cells" and ChemBE's take the Biochemistry/Cell Biology sequence). If you come in with that much AP credit, it will give you a chance to explore and take some classes just for fun - my AP scores were very similar and freshman year, I took two semesters of French, a business class and an economics class, just becuase they looked interesting. You can also get an early start on sophomore level classes. Even if you don't want to start taking the core engineering classes freshman year, you can take things like Organic Chemistry and Calculus III as a freshman (there are quite a few freshman who do this).

Hope that helps!

Thanks,
Tanman./
