AP Credit

Does anyone know how many AP credits can be used to satisfy general education requirements at Ohio State? I’ve read the AP credit chart and learned that if I passed with a 3+ all of my senior AP exams, my cumulative AP credit would be 35 units for OSU. However, I cannot find what the GE requirements are. All I know is that I would have satisfied my statistics course requirement (Stats 145) for my Communications Pre-Major…

I think the GECs vary depending on your college.

GECs also depend on honors affiliation. I don’t believe they’re posted anywhere online.

I think OSU intends to standardize GECs when they switch to a semester system.

I noticed that AP Environmental Science doesn’t count towards the science GEC (business)requirement.

Does anyone know how hard it is to petition to get an alternate subject counted for a GEC (like AP Enviro). All other state schools allow AP Enviro for a GEC science requirement?
