I have a question. Has anyone here taken AP English Lang? I'm debating whether to take that or Honors English 11. Both of them I would have to take online, because my sched. is different than everyone elses, and I can't fit into a regular Honors English 11 class. My sched would be
1. Calc.
2. AP Bio
3. AP Eng lang. or Honors 11
4. AP Gov.
5. Spanish
6. AP Stats.

Does AP english language require a lot of reading writing? I do procrastinate a lot, so I'm not looking for a super tough schedule, but what do you think I should do? Is AP Lang. a lot harder than Honors English? Is it worth it?

My AP English class was really easy. A lot of analysis reading and writing essays analyzing the writing styles of other essays and stories, but for me it was easy. Boring, actually.

It probably depends on the teacher and whether you like English or not. In my school, it seems that the class has always been easy.

AP English language isn’t really hard, I think, I don’t know if your online course would entail a lot of work, but the AP-exam itself is fairly easy. I am an international with English as a second language (not my language of instruction in school either), and I self-studied for the AP (I started a day before the exam, which meant, reading through a Princeton Review guide in the middle of the night) and scored a 5, so it must be really easy for you Americans! It’s also a fun course I think, and the more the merrier when it comes to APs right?
