I already have my hands on Princeton Review and Crash Course for AP Enviro. I'll let you guys know what I think of CC after I've had some time with it.

How are you guys preparing? There are only 34 days left !

I’m self-studying too! I’m using PR and a bunch of notes/vocab I found online. It’s been tough because I am also self-studying Comparative Government and English Language

I was going to order Barron’s but the fact that there is at least one factual error in Barron’s and several typos in Barron’s turned me off. The lukewarm reviews on Amazon didn’t help, and my previous experiences with Barron’s AP books - similarly lukewarm - caused me to go with Crash Course, which is a new and completely unproven book.

Nevertheless, the book looks good, and I just live for the test tips inside Crash Course, which tell you the best insider tips. E.g. it tells you that some topics have never been seen on an released AP Environmental exam; therefore, there little chance that the topic will show up on your exam.

I think your daughter should stick to the tried and proven Princeton Review and perhaps supplement it with Barron’s, which is extra thorough, and Crash Course. An afternoon or so spent at the library or bookstore with Barron’s and Crash Course should be enough - the only book that is critical is perhaps Princeton Review, according to forum posts. Crash Course may or may not be a winner but I’ll be sure to let everybody know after I take the AP Enviro exam.

I have the 5 steps to a 5 for both AP Chem and APES. My AP Chem class is an all year class so we study in there, but I had APES first semester, so I am doing a lot of self-studying. The AP Chem test is scheduled at the same time as the APES, so I have to make up one of them. I think I will take the AP Chem test on the actual day. Does anyone know when the make test days are?
