AP Environmental Science- Worth anything to colleges?

I'm planning to take AP Environmental Science next year but I'm not sure if it will be worth it or not. The teacher is presumably pretty easy and there's about 1 hr of hw per night. What would colleges see if I didn't take the AP exam later in the year (if I don't learn enough to). Even if I do take the exam and get a 4 or 5 in it, what will the score be worth? Do most colleges like take out the extra weight gpa for this particular AP class (5.0 to 4.0)? I'm fairly interested in this subject and I partly just want the easiest AP class (since I'm taking 4 hard APs other than this). Therefore I want to balance out all of the APs I'm interested in and that means i need to take 5 APs this year or I will have a stressful senior year.

I doubt they take out the weight.. i take it now and im not interested in it so i dread going to the class and in my school it's like the 2nd hardest class they offer.

lol, so do colleges value it a bit more now?
