AP Euro and AP Us Hist. in the same year?

Hey all,

I'm trying to plan my junior year schedule. As it is, I've got AP English, AP US, French 5, AP French, Physics, Pre Calc H, Yoga, and a free period. Keep in mind that these classes are divided up (four first semester, four second semester). I know that this is a decent amount of AP's but I feel like I should add in another instead of having a free period. I was thinking AP euro - would this be really hard with my other classes, especially having US too? I konw most CC kids probably think physics and pre calc H are easy classes but the math and science classes are the the toughest for me. I want to have a schedule I can handle and get all A's in but I know that I need to be competitive with the other kids at my school - most of them take 4-5 AP's junior year.

Thanks for any thoughts! :)

One problem you’re gonna face is on AP test day…You’re gonna be brain dead afterward since you have to take them both the same day lol.

Otherwise, go for it i guess. I barely tried this year in AP Euro, since i KNOW i could’ve studied ALOT more and i still got a 4. Good luck!

the tests aside, would it be really hard to get straight A’s in all of these classes?

How would we know? We don’t know you nor do we go to your school.

If based on what you hear of the classes you think you can handle it, them do it.

ok thanks guys.

My schedule is pretty similar, I think it could be doable but you can always take euro your senior year.

as far as your grade in the class, it depends on what kind of teach you have and how much they assign. APUS and AP euro do have similar skills needed for the test, so that would be a benefit. I agree about the test day though, I took APUS last year and the AP euro kids went in to take the test literally right after we got out.

yes, you can take AP Euro and AP Hist in the same year
