AP macro/Micro

Ok.. soooo.. whos feeling unbelievably screwed for these two exams?

raises hand

I don't understand HALF of the damn Macro .... my teacher was useless!

I haven't looked at Macro since JANUARY. Eeee. Well, I'm reading over my 100 pg outline right now and it's coming back slowly but surely. I really hope it does by Thursday because I rocked that class.

Govt on the other hand, definitely screwed.

x_x I self studied using the PR book and I can't seem to remember everything is doomed

lol ya.. this really sux.. i have my IB exam on monday and teusday, then AP on thursday.. and ya.. mannn.. i have 8 chapters left in macro.. I'm soo sick of econ.. lol, atleast I'm done with after this year, so no worries as a senior..

ya, none of teh prep books really help..

PLEAESSE IM SELF STUDYING FOR MICRO........man im soooooooo screwed i forgot everything.....macro i got on lock......micro oh god oh god.........i repeat....oh god :D

I haven't even begun to study for econs because right now bio is eating me..

But I'm running through barrons and pr before the test..

I flipped through them the day I bought them and pretty much got all the review questions right off the top of my head and I'm self studying the tests as well.

Prepared for the microecon exam, somewhat prepared for gov exam (I'm studying a bit more for the short answer).

I think I can pull off a 4/5 on the econ, and 3/4/barely 5 on the gov exam.

Come on people, the eco tests are supposed to be easy.

not if u are unprepared lol

still not that hard. mostly it's logic. Just understand what the all terminology means, you can probably figure it out by logic.

and oh, yes, one thing

MR= MC always always always.

PR is pretty good, but it doesn't have enough practice tests. is cliffs good? 5 steps to a 5?

it's all the same subject matter.......the only difference is how it is presented...personally i prefer PR. That's just me though...

I think PR does a crappy job of explaining ...
I rather use my textbooks.

Btw... Do we get some form of a formula sheet for the ECON exams or am I gonna have to memorize all of them?

I really don't think there'll be a lot of questions pertaining to anything mathmatical. But you def don't get a formula sheet.

I bought Cliffs and it's got tons of practice questions but I don't like the explanation section. I'm glad I took detailed notes out of my textbook/from my teacher because that's probably all I'll be using to study. And I bought a "Spark chart" for just really condensed key points.

i'm self-studying for micro and haven't looked at it in 3 months...

i guess i'll be poring over PR after AP Bio

CBA321, I agree with you, as we do not have access to a calculator nor a formula sheet during the entire exam...

I've done a couple of Micro MC Test, and I have only came across one question that requires the knowledge of formuals.

Ohhh, apologies. I'm not sure how much math will be on micro. I only took macro and I heard micro is more math? I would assume that the info would be basic enough to get an obvious answer, but that sucks for people who aren't good at math..

I'm already expecting to get a 1 on Macro...I haven't taken the class since last semester and I understood absolutely NOTHING when I took it...the teacher didn't even understand the material because this was his first year teaching economics PERIOD...so we were all screwed...oh well atleast I managed to get a 90 in the class
