@lightblaze259 I thought teachers normally do the frqs after they’re released? That’s how it is with calc and cs usually

Some do, but unless the link is to the school’s website, and not something like blogger or wordpress, it will not be allowed here. Please review to first post on this thread.
thats right
@kidfood that would make sense. The micro AP was way harder than the practice exams I did
Hello all, I am just taking AP Macroeconomics next year. But I read online, taking one but not the other is a waste or somewhat (is this true?), so I am interested in self studying the other half (AP Micro). Since I’ve scroll through and it seems Barron’s is probably the most popular, my questions are;
-
Any other review books other than barrons (for micro)? Would I need it?
-
How far into the year (as I’m taking the AP Macro class) should I start learning micro?
-
Textbooks (for micro) or even videos?
@jonathanchen , are you doing self-study? I took the class online in the summer of 2015, but it was an awful curriculum so I ended up studying with Barron’s and 5 Steps to a 5. Both are excellent. Also, Definitely use Jacob Clifford’s ACDC Econ videos/review packet. Totally worth it. With those 3 things I felt pretty confident I got a 5 on both exams.
@jonathanchen Barron’s is decent in terms of content, but the practice tests are absolutely horrible and basically insults the AP test. I highly recommend the 5 steps to 5 book since it is very convenient to use and the practice tests are realistic. As said above, the review packet and videos on AC DC econ are VERY helpful.
According to the head of the AP program Trevor Packer, “More than 40% of AP Macro students found FRQ2 on loans/demand deposits extremely difficult, earning 0 pts” (@AP_Trevor). I’m not surprised.
Got the 5 on both micro and macro
5 on both!
4 on Macro and 3 on Micro. I’m just happy I passed instead of failing like I thought I was going to.
Macro was the easiest exam of my life, except for the lang one, micro I never did in class but I guess it was just easy too cuz I got a 5 on both… clutched out 5 5s this year, easy af
Got a 5 on both!
5 on both exams
4’s on both and tbh I thought my mistakes on the FRQ’s were going to kill me
Here in New York, my daughter got a 5 for APUSH but a Code 89 for both AP Micro AND AP Macro. All it says for Code 89 is “score delayed.” I looked on the web and it seems it could be anything from a delay in transporting the exams to an allegation of an “irregularity” in the same classroom. However, it seems odd that this happened for two different exams. Did anyone else encounter this? Does anyone have any insight to offer?
Got a 5 on AP Micro (I didn’t take Macro). I’m only a sophomore and this was my first AP ever - the MC questions were harder than I expected. Apparently only 15% of test takers got 5’s this year on Micro compared to 19% last year so i’m really happy.
