Probably got a solid 1 or 2…
MC was good FRQs sucked. What happens when the US and JAPAN trade and GDP in the US increases? Does demand for the Yen decrease or increase?
I thought the MC was pretty easy, but the FRQ had some hard parts
The hardest part of the FRQs was the portion of #2 asking about how the thing changed the two bank things (I hope that’s vague enough for CB). I recalculated my answer three times, and I’m 100% sure I wasn’t right with my third calculation either.
I think what tripped me up throughout the whole exam was the wording they used. It took a while to understand what they were even asking for.
I came out of that MC feeling amazing, probably only got like ~5-10 wrong!
Then the FRQs hit.
@Neptune922 Same! There were a few parts in number 2 where the wording could have changed the answer, so I have no idea if I got the right answer
I hope micro isn’t gonna be as hard as y’all are saying macro is…
I was originally supposed to take both tests but I ended up just taking micro bc I dropped the macro course and didn’t want to self study. Now I’m sorta glad I did lol
I made a very big mistake. I put my FRQ 1 answers on the second blank page, where they printed the question “for convenience.” I only realised this later and wrote “Accidentaly wrote answer on second blank page” on the first blank page and scribbled the rest of the first lined page out. Do you think they are OK with that?
@tucitcennoc Did you write on the lined paper on the 2nd page?
@Bse15578 I wrote on the lined paper on the second page and continued to go onto the additional lined paper.
@tucitcennoc Yeah, you’ll be fine. The AP readers will see the note. At least you didn’t accidentally write in the area you’re supposed to do scratch work.
@tucitcennoc I did the same thing LOL! I just put a note and said a-d on next page, and wrote the rest on the first page because i noticed halfway through
That 2nd question on the free response was so poorly worded.
@glassflowers @yoyohi I completely agree. Like, were they asking me about the change with the initial AND new components, or just the new? Who knows? I went with just the new. And what did “over time” even mean?
Literally the exact same thing happened to me. I just wrote them a note on the first page “responses are on next lined page, accidentally flipped two pages at once sorry :)” hey I might even get bonus points for the smiley face
2nd free response question was so confusing. Honestly kinda pissed lol it was definitely worded terribly
ya, i feel like this is the only year they had a horribly worded free response question. so sad lol
@tucitcennoc i did that too! I wrote on the 2nd page but it was designated for question #1 so I think it’s good
@neptuna It said change so I went with the new but my friend added the old and the new together…
I thought that over time would mean the new one disregarding the old one, but I’m not sure at all D:
Literally put on my 2nd frq question “Ironic that you give AP English exams considering how horrible this wording is”
