AP National Scholar?

"National AP Scholar

Granted to students in the United States who receive an average grade of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams."

How do they count the number of exams for AP National Scholar? I'm currently a junior and would really like to have that award by the end of the year...

AP Exams Taken:
Chemistry 5
European History 5

AP Exams to be taken:
Calculus BC
English Language
U.S. History
Physics C, Mechanics
Macroeconomics (Self study, got an A @ UCLA)
Microeconomics (Self study, got an A @ UCLA)

Would that be enough to get AP National Scholar? I remember reading something about half credits but I dont really know how they would apply. If I dont have enough for AP National Scholar, which exams would you suggest that I self study?

Thanks

It says that you need to take "eight or more" APs. So, you should be fine.

Why? If you are planning to use it on college apps, it will be too late. Mostly, kids shoot for 8 by end of junior year. If you are going just for the awards, it's not worth anything.

Read his post properly. He is a junior right now...
