I have signed up for the three AP courses mentioned in the title, along with AP PolySci, and AP Econ. PolySci and Econ are only a semester each. Should I prepare myself to have no life, or is this manageable?

It depends on what the classes are like at your school and how much YOU can handle, based on classes you’ve taken in the past. Where I go, AP Stat is a joke and ridiculously easy. It’s mostly busy work and the only reason people complain about it is that it’s just that useless. But it looks good. I don’t know what’s taught in a traditional AP Physics class, but my Physics Honors (which is said to be even harder than AP since we don’t have one and isn’t taught the “traditional” way) is rough because it’s calc-based, and I just started taking AP Calc AB this year. I have to work twice as hard for that class than any other class. The stuff we were using in the first two weeks was stuff I didn’t get to until three months into AP Calc AB. On the other hand, as long as you can comprehend the concepts, you can focus on the math. I got an A- first semester and right now, I’m managing a B+ (although, it’ll probably die in the next couple of months.)

I wouldn’t worry too much about Econ or PolySci. Both are relatively easy classes as long as you don’t fall behind in the reading and whatnot. And since they’re one semester each, you’ll live.

You’ll have a life. Just divide and use your time wisely. Don’t let senioritis nail you. There are plenty of kids at my school that take six AP classes their senior years, and they’ll be completely involved in multiple extracurricular activities and still have a 4.0 unweighted while partying multiple times a month.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!
