Ap Physics or Ap Environmental?

Hi!

I am an incoming senior and am debating whether to take AP Physics or environmental. Apparently at my school APES has a teacher that fails many students and Physics is more relaxed. My schedule will be

Ap Lit
Ap Gov/Micro
Ap spanish language
Ap physics/environmental
Dual enrollment microcomputers
Dual enrollment psychology
Laws of Business Honors
Statistics Honors

I am going to be majoring in communications/marketing/public reations/international relations. Something along those lines. I am also going to be juggling being President of NEHS and FBLA, model UN, two jobs, my non profit, and studying for ACT/SAT. What should I do?

Are you better at math or humanities? Physics is very math based, whereas environmental is very memorization based. Take whichever one you feel you’d perform in better.

@Shanban1607 humanities for sure

Do you have to take one or the other? Six college-level classes with your extracurriculars seems like a huge load. You also have to make time for your applications. I’d just take a free period, but if you have to go with one, I would recommend physics.

I suggest you take APES if you don’t feel like your math skills are quite as strong. The class is supposed to be an easier AP (but still not easy by any means). If you are great with memorization, this class should be a breeze, and it encompasses very interesting material if you’re into that sort of thing.

@pinklinks @Shanban1607 thank you! :slight_smile:

What sort of Physics is it (AP Physics 1?)
Any other choice (Physics regular?)
Have you taken AP Euro yet?

I would do APES

@MYOS1634 ap physics 1. Theres Physics honors. I have not

Is Physics honors easier than spending physics 1 at your school?
