AP Psych or Tutor?

Basically, next year ill be a ib diploma candidate. usually, we take 5 ib classes and then ib tok. but i got ahead so im taking an extra ib class this year, so ill have an extra period (that must be filled) next year. my choices are to either take ap psych, which is the only ap class on campus i havent taken, or serve as a tutor for study hall.

i want to do study hall, even though itd lower my gpa seemingly since its not a weighted class. but should i take ap psych instead, just because its another ap class?

take ap psych..its an easy class and an easy ap exam if you're going to take it.

i know that, but since ap psych is a pushover ap, doesnt that make it somewhat pointless to take? i just wanna do tutoring since its fun and the kids are great, but iono if collegesll think that im trying to significantly ease up my schedule senior year. mind you though im still taking things like english a HL, physics HL, math HL, bio HL.

What do you mean by "pushover" AP? I wanted to take AP psychology next year.

its one of those ridiculously easy aps that doesnt get much respect in terms of difficulty or rigor. so i wonder if its worth taking.

It's still an AP class eitherway. You aren't required to take it, but it's a good AP class to help you raise your GPA. Some colleges weigh rank heavily.

I'd still be number one regardless. im just wondering if colleges would consider that as trying to significantly ease up my senior year schedule, which i wouldnt since ap psych is still one of the easiest classes out there.
