AP Psychology

i am planning to self-study for AP Psychology. is it a hard course/exam?

yeah but you might want to get started, there is some stuff to memorize. im doing it this year and i read David G. Myers's Psychology 7th Ed. it was an easy to understand textbook and i really dont think the exam will be very hard.

Yep, the Myers is a good textbook for this course. I didn't find it very difficult. Just read the textbook a couple times.

Im thinking of just doing it with the AP Psychology Barron's book..
has anyone done this themselves and how does it work out for them?
im just really scared because the david myers book is 724 pages or so and the ap psych barron's one is only around 250 pages..
i really want a five on this ap test but theres only like a month left and ive been working on this barrons book....

ipwn -- definitely doable -- w/ absolutely no background in psyche, i used the barrons book alone last yr, and it provided sufficient info for me to score a 5 on the exam. All the info u need is in there.

phantom- cool thats kinda makes me less nerveous, but how much work did you spend on it becuase im basically planning on readig it maybe 2 or 3 times in the next month after reading once already..
is that sufficient? did you take notes? if so, how detailed were they?
sorry for all the questions- just really concerned.
thanks

I agree. I learned the material in less than a month without using the Myers book (it is a very good book, though). AP Psych is (by far) one of the easiest AP exams.
