AP refund???

My principal told me that she would get me a refund for one of my AP exams like 1 and a half months ago. However, I still haven’t received it. Should I go ask her about it? How long does it usually take to receive a refund for AP exams?

Yes you should probably ask. But 1 and a half months ago would mean that you asked for a refund literally 1-2 weeks before the AP exam. I’m not even sure if that’s possible.

It’s possible to get a refund as long as I haven’t written on the exam yet. And yeah, I asked her personally for a refund.

Then you should get your money in due time.

You would need to speak to admin (whoever you gave your money to for test reg), not a principal. I can’t imagine my kids’ principal even knows how this stuff happens.

I originally asked my AP coordinator and he said I had to get permission from the principal since my school only gives refunds to people who can provide a medical note. So I went to the principal and asked her and she told me she would get me a partial refund.

I just asked my principal about when I will receive my refund and she said she will look into it. However, I still haven’t gotten a reply??? And school is about to end …

@LightofHope Then you will need to ask her again about the status of your refund, if you still want it. It’s called follow-up, and you have to do it often on things that are important to you.

@dscottvb any idea on how to ask her about it again? I’m having trouble coming up with something that doesn’t sound a bit rude.
