Please help me!

I got 3 on world history, 3 on Physics C electricity, 4 on Physics B, and 4 on Physics C Mechanics, and 5 on Calc BC

From College board:
AP Scholar with Distinction

Granted to students who receive an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

I have 3 or higher on 5 exams!
and the average is: (3+3+4+4+5)/5=3.8!
but instead of getting a distinction award, i got a honor award!

what's the problem?

My guess is that you list two physics scores, one of which is a subscore that doesn't count towards the awards. Admittedly, I don't know how the subscores work or if you took B one year then C the next or something but this seems like a logical explanation.

Did you take any other tests? It also counts tests that you failed, so that may bring down your average.

Also, did your AP scores that you received in the mail have a list of your scores from all your years or just the most recent ones?

i didn't fail any. listed above are the only ones.
just the ones i took this year, so without Physics B..what does that mean?

Subscores don't count. If you take Calc BC, for example, your AB subscore doesn't count towards any honors.

I can't recall how the Physics exams are structured, but apply the principle above.

"i didn't fail any. listed above are the only ones.
just the ones i took this year, so without Physics B..what does that mean?"

That means that CB has two files for you. You must have filled in something differently between the two years. Just call them and give them your information. They will be able to locate the two files and combine them into one. I'm not sure if they will mail the new award to you or not though. Its not like it matters anyways.
